Can a gluten free person get a good meal at this restaurant? Two things though on the negative side - 1) it’s definitely pricey but...I guess that’s what you get when most things are imported in Djibouti (though we did not have alcohol and mostly had seafood) and 2) the manager/owner really gives off some colonial vibes and in how she speaks to the staff. An oasis in Djibouti which is the home of overpriced mediocrity but this is their best restaurant. Just Like France! I went here with colleagues and we all enjoyed our dishes - our plates were clean. Every time I travel to Djibouti I look forward to dinner at Café de la Gare. It was. Just Marvelous! same time it is was quite pricey - 40€ per plate.
