We arrived late for our reservation and they said no problem...seated us at the bar and brought us drinks, took our order, then moved us to our table...We ordered the menu if the day which was 32 Euros each...not bad...the appetizer, a puff pastry filled with a chicken, vegetable mix in a cream sauce....my entree was a white fish, not sure what the English translation is... served over a bed of risotto in a saffron cream sauce with mussels.....dessert...I picked the waffles served with three pots..one of chocolate, whipped cream and applesauce....I passed at the apple sauce and finished the chocolate for sure....The meal was divine, the service was fantastic. In fairness, a waiter later asked me how the food was and I showed him my dry beef fillet. I really wanted to like this place. It just isn't possible on this scale. You can also buy napkins in the restaurants. Sigh!

I'm regular because it's in the 'hood, it's always open, always busy, and the food is consistently good.I love the old train station, I love the little train that runs around the restaurant, I love that you can see the chefs with their big hats prepping the food and yelling at each other.As an appetizer, I particularly appreciate the veggie pizza to share. Hardly room for dessert but tempted by the sight of sweet things heading for other tables, we chose Meringues Glacees and Creme Brûlée, very good indeed. Reservations made well in advance. - The meals were really good, especially the autumn salad, the "baba au rhum" and the "vacherin"!

The atmosphere is casual, loud, busy...its a hustle, bustle type of place. I absolutely loved this place and I am really puzzled by some of the negative reviews. I had to chase them for menus, bread, olives,water etc.

It was the Hit. We both had the Rum Baba for dessert and again it was delicious. Everything was perfect. So light and fluffy and delicious.
